We seem to have something of a third party squeeze with the 3rd party being lots of other parties. The mains are polling at almost 80% up from 65%. Labour despite the loss of Scotland are polling better in England and Wales arguably than any time since 2001 at a general election. They will still be wiped out but hey ho. Then boundary changes kick in as their gerrymandering is unwound but there you go. The Liberals 8% seems to signal the death of Social Democracy and they have not pimped Liberalism (bar Neo Liberalism) in a long time.

As someone whose views can be interpreted as to the left or right of the spectrum depending on the issue I do find the use of the word extremist funny. After all on the left most people called extremists would be centrists to some of my friends. Amber Rudd Home Secretary ended the scheme to import Child refugees. Her reasoning something about encouraging people to send lone children – resets bullshit detector. And it’s a drop in the ocean and with 100s of millions to be displaced by Climate Change a drop in the universe really. Nonetheless a signal to the bigots who often rely on immigrants far more than more tolerant generations that she hates anyone foreign even children too.
